California
has experienced two
earthquakes

The United States Geological Survey recorded the initial earthquake, measuring at 2.5 magnitude, close to San Francisco, followed by another one offshore not long afterward.
An assessment from
Michigan
The tech university indicated that individuals usually do not perceive earthquakes with a magnitude of 2.5 or lower. Quakes ranging from 2.5 to 5.4 are generally noticed but tend to result in minimal structural harm.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries after the occurrence of the two earthquakes.
The earthquake took place along the San Andreas Fault, which stretches for 800 miles from Cape Mendocino in the north down to the Salton Sea in the south.
