In the inaugural season of “Yellowstone” on the Paramount Network, Grimes took on the role of Kayce Dutton. She continued her portrayal through the show’s duration as a popular modern Western drama. In the final episodes viewed by audiences, Kayce managed to sell the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch to Thomas Rainwater and the Broken Rock Indian Reservation for exactly what their forebears had paid — $1.25 an acre.
