Cyclone Alfred is leading to perilous conditions in Australia. Besides leaving around 300,000 households without electricity, it forced thousands to evacuate their residences, with at least one fatality reported. Moreover, an additional threat surfaced as well.
Sharks have already been seen in the inundated canals! These marine creatures were pushed inland due to the flooding from the heavy rainfalls. In a video shared on Instagram, user Nicka35 cautioned, “Stay away from the water now.” He added, “This is quite intense; bigger than anticipated. It’s not a large shark, but seriously, it could snap your toes right off.” The footage captures two bull sharks navigating through the turbid waters of Tallebudgera Creek in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
The cyclone has considerably diminished in intensity; however, the crisis remains unresolved in Australia.
