Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has notified its clients about scheduled grid upkeep on Thursday, March 13.
On Wednesday, March 12, Kenya Power issued an announcement stating that at least 11 counties would experience planned outages due to maintenance activities.
“Good evening, please expect scheduled maintenance for tomorrow, Thursday the 13th of March 2025,” stated Kenya Power.
KPLC reports that various regions within counties such as Nairobi, Kakamega, Meru, and Mombasa will experience power outages lasting up to nine hours beginning at 8 am.
1. Nairobi County
Region: Section of Pangani (9 AM – 5 PM)
Muranga Road, Guru Nanak Hospital, Pangani Police Station, Juja Road, Radiant Hospital, Northview Street, Customers near Strawberry location.
Location: Langata Deliverance, which is part of South C (Available from 9 am to 5 pm)
