The actress, who disclosed in October 2023 that she was fighting a uncommon form of cancer affecting the adrenal glands, passed away at a medical facility near Paris on Sunday night, according to an announcement made by her representative Danielle Gain for AFP, as cited by the news source.
Dequenne was born on August 29, 1981, and began her studies at the Music & Spoken Word Academy in Baudour, Belgium, when she was young. At just 12 years old, she took up drama classes there and also joined the La Releve Theater group.
At 17 years old, she secured her debut film role in “Rosetta.” The same year, she also won the part in another project.
